Transition Instructions
Switching to any new dog food should be a gradual transition over 7 – 10 days. Replace 25% of the current food with Solid Gold for 2 to 3 days, then feed a little more Solid Gold over the next 5 – 7 days until your dog is eating Solid Gold exclusively. This gradual transition will help reduce digestive upsets that may occur due to the change in diet.
Great product! –
Great product. I wasn’t able to get Wellness Core Reduced Fat Grain-Free so I tried Solid Gold Fit as a Fiddle. My dog had no issues with the gradual mixing in and transition, she loves this food as much as Wellness and she is doing just as well. Happy dog means a happy dog mom.
My Dog Loves It –
My dog loves this product. He was always scratching and licking a lot and I suspected he was allergic to the corn, wheat or soy in the product we had him on so I decided to switch. I am still mixing the two products together as I worried because he always has had a sensitive stomach. So far so good and the licking and scratching has seemed to improve. He should be totally transitioned in the next couple of weeks so I pray he will do well with it in the future. He is very eager at feeding time!!!
